How much does an app cost?+
Most full builds land between $40k and $150k. We send a fixed price after a paid two-week discovery sprint, so there are no surprises.
How long does a project take?+
12 to 20 weeks for a focused first release. Larger products take longer; we'll be honest about it in scoping.
Do you sign NDAs?+
Yes, on request. We keep one on file and counter-sign within a day.
Who owns the code?+
You do. Source code, design files, and all accounts transfer to you at handoff.
Do you work with clients outside Pennsylvania?+
Yes. About 60% of our clients are in PA / NJ / DE; the rest are scattered across the U.S.
Will you work with our existing team?+
Yes. Many engagements include working alongside an in-house engineer or designer.
Can you take over from another vendor?+
We do this several times a year. We'll do a paid two-week audit before agreeing to take it on.
Do you offer fixed-price contracts?+
Almost always. We use capped time-and-materials only when scope is genuinely undefined.
What's your post-launch support like?+
Most clients move into a small monthly retainer ($1,800/mo and up) covering monitoring, updates, and steady improvements.
Do you do design without development?+
Yes — about 20% of our work is design-only.
Native iOS/Android or React Native?+
It depends on your team's maintenance capacity. We help you decide in discovery — there's no house preference.
Are your developers full-time employees?+
Yes. Everyone on the team is a W-2 employee. We do not subcontract overseas.
What's your team size?+
Eight people: a founder, two designers, four engineers, and a project lead.
Do you do AI projects?+
We integrate LLMs into products (search, summarization, copilots) when they earn their place. We don't take greenfield 'AI startup' projects without a clear product hypothesis.
Do you handle App Store / Play Store submission?+
Yes. We submit on your accounts and stay on call until you're live.
Can you build something HIPAA-compliant?+
We've built HIPAA-aware systems. We're not a covered entity ourselves, but we'll work alongside your compliance team.
Do you accept equity in lieu of cash?+
No. We're a service business and we keep it simple.
What if our priorities change mid-project?+
We swap scope on a one-in-one-out basis without changing the price. Larger changes get a written change order.
What's your refund policy?+
If you're not satisfied with the discovery deliverable, we refund the discovery fee. It's never been requested.
